Impact crushers rapidly crush material using hammers attached to a rotor. The vertically mounted rotor rotates at high speed around a horizontal axis, crushing the material so that the output has a high cubicity.
The size of the crushed material is determined by the rotor speed and the gap between the hammers and the impact plates.
