On December 18, in Nizhny Novgorod, the judo competition “Rudprom Open Cup” took place. Almost 300 fighters born between 2007 and 2012 from cities such as Kovrov, Arzamas, Nizhny Novgorod, Shuya, Ivanovo, Dzerzhinsk, Zavolzhye, Bor, Linda, Semenov, and Gorodets participated in it.
Despite the young age of the judokas, the intensity on the tatami was no less than in adult competitions. The high level of the event allowed even the losing athletes to enjoy and gain invaluable experience from participating in the competition. The winners were awarded honorary diplomas and medals by the company “Rudprom”.
