"Karelian Stone. Roads of Karelia" — 2013

December 19 - 20, 2013

On December 19-20, 2013, in Petrozavodsk, "Rudprom" participated in the combined exhibition of the mining and road industries of the national economy of the Republic of Karelia "Karelian Stone. Roads of Karelia". The exhibition was aimed at acquainting industry specialists with new technologies and outlining new opportunities that these technologies provide. LLC "Rudprom" and the "DROBMASH" plant prepared an exposition of innovative equipment and materials for the exhibition.

We presented to our colleagues a line of standard equipment from the plant, as well as new developments in the field of mobile crushing and screening equipment on a tracked chassis, developed jointly with colleagues from Germany. Our stands were very popular at the exhibition, as the "DROBMASH" plant is the first and so far the only manufacturer of mobile equipment on a tracked chassis in the Russian Federation.

The new line of DROBMASH mobile equipment is becoming increasingly demanded in Russia, but it is especially relevant for Karelia, where 90 mining enterprises are currently operating. The industry employs about 8000 people, and the total share of the mining industry in the overall industrial production of the republic in recent years has exceeded 40%.

In a ceremonial speech, the head of the Republic of Karelia, Alexander Khudilainen, noted that the mining industry of the republic has enormous development potential, associated with the intensive construction of new roads in Russia and the repair of existing ones. DROBMASH equipment will help Karelian miners fully realize their advantages.

The exhibition not only allowed its participants to learn about new products and services but also became a good opportunity for specialists to discuss pressing issues of working in related industries. LLC "Rudprom" employees established business contacts with enterprises in Karelia, St. Petersburg, Murmansk, and Arkhangelsk regions.
